We get a lot of e-mails and calls from artists who are not yet ready to hire a publicist but have a lot of questions about how publicity works. For those of you in this situation, I wrote this article back in the late 90’s. Because the music industry is changing so rapidly I feel a a 2007 re-vamp is way overdue ! watch for that within the next few days.
