What We Can All Learn From Mick Jagger

I love Mick, truly one of the most underrated lyricists of our time in my opinion, and as you say, a consummate showman (and businessman).

Haven’t seen the movie, but thanks for the reminder to commit to showmanship, it’s probably the strongest asset I have in the arsenal, lol. )

Great post! I posted something similar to this a few days ago, although I related it to a ‘showmanship’ encore by Juan Diego Flórez at the Met in NY. It’s very easy for musicians these days to get caught up in the ‘tech’ side of our business and sometimes lose track of the real audience and how we should relate to them, by putting on a show. Anyway, thank you for another good blog – I’m learning a lot from reading and listening to these!
